This position involves conducting assessments, implementing treatment plans, evaluating patient progress, and adapting care to meet individual needs. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement and evaluate treatment plans, adapting as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide seamless patient care and support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy, with registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification, or willingness to obtain
- Current Heart & Stroke BCLS (Level C) Certification
- Member in good standing with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT), preferred
