Procurement Manager Job Description

At Fix Network, we're seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you'll play a crucial role in driving business growth and optimizing our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct market research, analyze data, and provide insights to inform procurement decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain procurement processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to procurement team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or supply chain management.
  • 5-8 years' progressive experience in a purchasing role.
  • Certified Professional Purchaser (C.P.P.) designation or registration in the educational program of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and procurement software.
