Mianco Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operators Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of heavy equipment operators and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of heavy equipment operators to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to coordinate work activities and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to heavy equipment operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control costs, materials, and supplies to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on project progress, safety incidents, and other relevant matters.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, operations management).
  • Experience: 1-7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a heavy equipment operations environment.
  • Work site environment: Dangerous, dusty, noisy, outdoors.
  • Tasks:
    • Recommend measures to improve productivity.
    • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
    • Estimate costs and materials.
    • Prepare production and other reports.
    • Co-ordinate and schedule activities.
    • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers.
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules.
    • Read blueprints and drawings.
    • Recommend personnel actions.
    • Requisition materials and supplies.
    • Supervise workers and projects.
    • Train or arrange for training.
