Pension and Benefits Lead Salary Range:$120,000 - $160,000 per annum
Job Description:
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of pensions, Defined Contribution (DC) and Defined Benefit (DB) plans, and leave-related activities. As the Pension and Benefits Lead, your focus will be on compliance with company policies and legislative requirements, while continuously identifying trends and suggesting necessary updates and improvements to pension and benefits plans.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of compliance regulations related to these plans, ensuring all pension-related activities meet legal and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will apply employee communication strategies to provide up-to-date content for benefits-related materials. A key aspect of this role includes interpreting and applying pension, benefits, and leave policies to ensure alignment with company procedures and provincial regulations, while also promoting cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
You will oversee employee leave requests, including those for disability, parental, and personal leaves, ensuring compliance with relevant laws. This role requires someone who can adapt and thrive in a flexible and less structured environment.
