About the Role

">

This is a critical position that plays a key part in evolving our emergency response activities, supporting departments across the organization in making informed business decisions.

">

The successful candidate will assist CAAT Pension Plan in strengthening its business continuity management framework by designing, building, implementing, and operationalizing BCM from the ground up.

">

We are seeking an experienced professional with a minimum of 4 years in Business Continuity Management (BCM) or a related area, holding certifications such as Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) or Certified Functional Continuity Professional (CFCP).

">

The ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders during crisis situations, developing and implementing business continuity plans, and having in-depth knowledge of relevant BCM guidelines (ISO 22301).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of a Crisis Management Plan containing Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Communications strategies">
  • Supporting the execution of BCM activities, including Threat and Risk Assessments, Business Impact Assessments, and Business Continuity Plans">
  • Facilitating exercises and tests, training first-line members on BCM activities, and identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities that could impact business operations">
  • Maintaining awareness of industry trends, BCM regulatory requirements, and best practices to continuously improve CAAT's continuity strategies">
  • Serving as the key contact/incident commander for business continuity during incidents, ensuring efficient coordination of recovery activities">
  • Reporting regularly on the status of BCM activities to senior leadership and relevant committees">

Educational Requirements and Desired Skills

University degree in a related field of study; expertise in Microsoft Office suite and Visio; strong analytical experience with risk internal controls background;

Salary Range

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
