Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marine Engineering Project Lead to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. As a key member of our Non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs team, you will be responsible for leading and organizing the in-service capability insertion and sustainment program for the Royal Canadian Navy's AOPS and JSS In-Service Support (AJISS) portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering cost estimation, project management, and team leadership. You will be responsible for coordinating the status of all Options Analysis and Engineering Changes with Work Package Managers, developing and maintaining Capability Roadmaps and associated dashboards, and managing the overall engineering change submissions in accordance with Chorus 2.0 processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Capability Insertion and Sustainment Program, develop and maintain Capability Roadmaps and associated dashboards
  • Coordinate the status of all Options Analysis and Engineering Changes with WPMs and create the Engineering Change Program Status report
  • Manage the overall engineering change submissions in accordance with Chorus 2.0 processes
  • Mentor and support WPMs, EDMs, and PMs in the preparation of their Estimates/Bids/Quotations
  • Contribute to the review, development, and implementation of the requirements of the In-Service Program Management Plan, Life Cycle & Materiel Management & Engineering Plan, and other relevant sub-plans, processes, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum 3-year technical program diploma or certified as a technologist in a relevant field
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience performing engineering cost estimates for marine-related equipment and/or platforms within the last 10 years
