Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Maintenance Specialist to join our team at FLSmidth Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing precision machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to diagnose and repair complex machinery issues.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet specific requirements.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, ensuring quality control.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, ensuring accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Line or reline furnaces, kilns, boilers, and similar installations using refractory or acid-resistant bricks, refractory concretes, plastic refractories, and other materials.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for on-the-road job requirements.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a dusty environment.
