Job Description

Sun Glow Window Coverings Products of Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our team in the design and development of innovative products.

The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and test new product lines, utilizing their knowledge of mechanical systems, computer-aided design (CAD), and manufacturing processes.

About the Role
  • We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in mechanical testing and analysis, CAD software, and design tools.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
  • Design and develop new product lines using CAD software and other tools
  • Estimate costs and materials required for production
  • Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure effective implementation of designs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and SolidWorks software
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes
