Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse II to join our team. As a Nurse II, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents/clients, working in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) or the Registered Psychiatric Nurse Act of Manitoba.
  • Meet the Standards of Practice as defined by the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or the College of Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant competencies for the position offered by PMH.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Active practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or eligibility for active practicing licensure.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training.
  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A RECOGNIZED OR NURSING AND TECHNIQUES PROGRAM.
  • Demonstrated effective problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and clients.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
