Responsibilities

">

The Laboratory Specialist will work under the general supervision of the Charge or designate to assist in general lab projects such as SOPs, chemical inventories, etc. This role requires maintaining a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines, ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs, and upholding standards put forth by Accreditation.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong educational background in Medical Laboratory Technology from an approved program. Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM) is required. Additionally, having current membership with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

This position may require working shifts, weekends, and holidays. The Laboratory Specialist will be exposed to various hazards and dangers inherent in working in a laboratory setting.

Compensation Package

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
