Job Summary:

The Cabinetmakers Foreman/Woman will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality cabinets and furniture in our custom cabinet shop. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in cabinetmaking, leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cabinetmakers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Prepare production reports and schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the skills of cabinetmakers and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production and delivery of products.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate production.
Requirements:
  • Cabinetmaker Trade Certification or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cabinetmaking, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
