Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Westwood Landscapes Inc. As a key member of our landscaping team, you will be responsible for planning and supervising landscape construction work, maintaining work records, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and estimate labour and materials for landscape construction projects
  • Supervise and manage landscape construction work, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including labour hours, materials used, and project progress
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring timely completion of projects

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
