Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at FOUR WINDS MOTEL INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR department, including coordinating seminars, assisting with staff consultation and grievance procedures, and recording minutes of meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees

Support for Indigenous People:

  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers

Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
