Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at FOUR WINDS MOTEL INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as providing administrative support to our HR team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including answering telephone calls and relaying messages
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
- Answer electronic enquiries and compile data, statistics, and other information
- Respond to employee questions and complaints
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
- Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
Support for Indigenous People:
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
Working Conditions:
- Permanent position
- 35 hours per week
- English language
