Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Development Analyst to join our Corporate Development team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping shape and execute our inorganic growth strategy.

What is the Opportunity?

The Corporate Development team is responsible for identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities to drive growth and expansion. As a Strategic Development Analyst, you will work closely with senior executives and business leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic initiatives
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans
  • Provide analytical support to senior executives and business leaders
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports to communicate strategic initiatives and results
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
