Job Title: Strategic Development Analyst

At Royal Bank of Canada, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Development Analyst to join our Corporate Development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping shape and execute our inorganic growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and joint venture opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas for the Bank
  • Prepare financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and external advisors to drive deal execution
  • Support the development of inorganic growth plans and strategies
Requirements:
  • Honours-level University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, or Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate finance or M&A, preferably within a financial services organization
  • Strong financial modeling skills and experience with valuation analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Natural curiosity and ability to learn and adapt quickly
