Overview: As an Accounts Payable Technician/Analyst, you will be responsible for processing and reviewing purchase invoices, investigating and resolving billing discrepancies, and collaborating with the procurement team to improve the accounts payable process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and review purchase invoices for accuracy and proper coding.
  • Compare invoices to contracts to verify the accuracy of amounts invoiced.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment problems.
  • Monitor the processing of supplier invoices.
  • Prepare and process weekly or monthly payments, ensuring payment accuracy and compliance with supplier deadlines.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier data.

Required Qualifications:
  • DEC/AEC in Accounting or other relative experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems (an asset).
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Bilingual (an asset).
