Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Tajinder Guraya. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health.
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, and assist with laundry and other household tasks.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Will train on the job, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and schedules.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in the client's home, providing one-on-one support and care. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
