Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Tajinder Guraya. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health.
  • Prepare and serve meals, as well as assist with feeding and hydration.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with laundry and linen management.
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Will train on the job, with opportunities for professional development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients.
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Work Environment:

Our Home Support Workers will be working in the employer's home, providing care and support to clients in a safe and comfortable environment. Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis, but this is not a condition of employment.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in this role, and proficiency in English is required.Work Hours:

40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet the needs of clients.
