Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Genics.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position requiring a reliable and physically demanding individual who can work outdoors in various locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, moving tools and materials, and assisting tradespersons as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required
- Assist tradespersons and other workers as directed
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
The successful candidate will work in a rural area with frequent travel to remote locations. Public transportation is not available, so a reliable vehicle is not necessary. Staff accommodation may be provided in some cases.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Experience: Experience an asset
The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is also necessary.Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Group insurance benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, are also offered.
