Note: The office location can be Ottawa, Woodbridge, Montreal or Calgary. Candidates based in Montreal must be bilingual in French and English. Egis offers a hybrid/remote work environment with an in-office presence for meetings when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support; Reporting on financial performance and preparing for regular leadership reviews.
  • Strategic Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to support strategic initiatives; Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts; Providing insights into business performance and suggesting improvements.
  • Data Management: Maintaining financial data integrity and accuracy; Developing, implementing and maintaining financial databases and systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and supporting them in financial planning; Communicating financial insights and recommendations to management.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Performing ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling as required; Supporting special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field;
  • MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g. li>
  • 10 years of demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within an engineering consulting firm;
  • Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g. Excel, Oracle, Deltek);
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent time management and organizational skills;
