Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Roy Mart. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Order merchandise and authorize returns
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
