Fiera Real Estate Investments Limited is seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to join our Real Estate Financing team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the origination, due diligence, and portfolio management of our real estate investments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the due diligence process, including the preparation of credit committee presentations and the analysis of financial models.
- Support the credit application process, including the drafting of internal memos and commitment letters.
- Prepare internal memorandums regarding transaction amendments and perform analysis of existing Real Estate Financing accounts.
- Verify and analyze data regarding new Real Estate Financing opportunities to ensure that senior management is well-informed.
- Coordinate transaction activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the research and development of business opportunities and attend prospect meetings.
- Maintain current knowledge of the Real Estate environment through ongoing research and participating in networking events.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Professional designation (CFA, CPA, AACI, etc) is an asset.
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in Real Estate.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Reasonable knowledge of loan structuring and documentation.
- Ability to analyze market trends and relate them to the Fiera Real Estate business.
- Ability to operate in a fast-growing, results-oriented environment while meeting demanding deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly and be proactive.
- Rigorous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage many competing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Works well in a team environment, able to multi-task.
- Ability to liaise with legal counsel or other external stakeholders in relation to due diligence and transaction documentation.
