Associate Director, Real Estate Financing

Reporting to the Senior Director, Real Estate Financing, the Associate Director is responsible for supporting the Real Estate Financing team to achieve attractive returns on investments and maximize their growth potential.

The Associate Director will assist the Managing Director and the Senior Director with:

  • Origination and initial screening of new financing opportunities
  • Preparation of credit committee submissions, closings, and ongoing portfolio management
  • Due diligence process and credit committee presentations
  • Credit application process, internal memos, and commitment letters
  • Ongoing portfolio management, including portfolio analysis, loan tracking, and liaising with project parties

The Associate Director will:

  • Verify, analyze, and interpret data regarding new Real Estate Financing opportunities
  • Coordinate transaction activities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain current knowledge of the Real Estate environment through research and networking events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional designation (CFA, CPA, AACI, etc.) is an asset
  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in Real Estate
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze market trends and relate them to the business
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and liaise with external stakeholders

Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 3 days in-office per week.
