Bakery Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Krause Farms Ltd. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet established quality standards.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer expectations.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet production demands.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products safely.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Place dishes in storage areas and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.

  • Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Perform repetitive tasks and maintain a high level of productivity.
