We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Strategist to join our team at Rogers Communications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as experience in developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies.

Job Overview

The Cyber Security Strategist will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust information security program that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. This includes identifying and mitigating potential security threats, developing and enforcing security policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Collaborate with executive teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
    • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Internal and External Relationships:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to drive a common security agenda.
    • Collaborate with IT and network teams to integrate security controls into technology solutions and architecture.
  • Incident Response and Crisis Management:
    • Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches and incidents.
    • Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions to address security breaches.

Requirements

  • Executive level depth and breadth of information security experience in growing complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement disciplined operations, including flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing security landscapes and emerging threats.
  • Experience in design, implementation, and management of cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
  • Management of the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Coordinate and manage incident response activities, including investigation, remediation, and reporting of security incidents.
