Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize systems and procedures to deliver exceptional customer service on all interactions
- Learns and maintains solid product knowledge on manufacturer-specific vehicles and manufacturer-specific rebate, finance and incentive programs
- Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and fellow employees
- Ensure that all work performed is thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion
- Work effectively without supervision
- Attend factory-sponsored and dealer-specified training classes as scheduled by management
- Answer Customer Service phone calls relating to car sale inquiries
- Evaluate customer needs and provide recommendations on suitable vehicles
- Keep customers updated by phone as to the progress of their vehicle's delivery
- Inform customers when vehicles are ready to be picked up
- Recommend accessories and services to enhance customer experience
- Account for all documents; ensure that none are missing
- Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding late vehicle deliveries
- Comply with strict regulations and requirements of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC)
- Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times
- Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Automotive Sales Experience is an asset
- OMVIC Certification is required
- Dealer CRM system experience is an asset
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record
- Strong computer skills
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability and willingness to be flexible under changing conditions
- Ability to be creative and persuasive in negotiating
- Ability to exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure
- Well-spoken, friendly and articulate
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules
- May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs

Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $150,000 per year based on location and experience.
