Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Technician Lead to join our team at TORONTO CAR SALES & AUTO SERVICES. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Role

In this critical position, you will be responsible for leading our team of technicians in ensuring that all vehicles receive high-quality repairs and maintenance. This includes overseeing daily operations, coordinating tasks, and providing guidance and support to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of technicians to ensure efficient and effective vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Perform complex diagnostic and repair work on various types of vehicles, including commercial transport trucks and automobiles
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the workshop
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong understanding of industry best practices
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving targets
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working 35-40 hours per week. You will be based in a well-equipped garage, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and tools.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:
