Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Equilibrium Therapeutics. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and processing files.
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
