Network Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at Value Mobile. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.
Key Responsibilities- Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
- Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance.
- Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and data from unauthorized access.
- Backup and Recovery: Perform routine network start-up and close-down, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Network Optimization: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.
- Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, research and apply meta-data to Websites, and register Websites with search engines.
- Technical Supervision: Supervise technical staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in network administration, preferably in a telecommunications industry.
- Certifications: Network+ Certification or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of device drivers, networking software, networking hardware, networking security, Internet, servers, desktop applications, security software, and database software.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, judgement, organized, and a team player.
