Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at 2535830 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, install software, and maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations, set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and implement network traffic and security monitoring software.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in network administration or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of networking software and hardware, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
