Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Otomox Building Solutions.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Schedule work and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
  • Ability to work at heights and in a noisy, dusty environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
