Director of Water Initiatives

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Water Initiatives to lead our Water for Life Initiative. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction to the program, ensuring its effective implementation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall leadership to the Water for Life Initiative, developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to achieve its goals.
  • Oversee program implementation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects and activities.
  • Develop and manage resources, including budgeting, staffing, and partnerships, to support the program's growth and success.
  • Lead a team of technical, administrative, and programs staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Ensure strong oversight of international operations, ensuring clarity on goals and mission, resource productivity, and good long-term decision-making in each country.
  • Participate in proposal writing and budgeting, and manage a caseload of ministry partners.
  • Active member of the lead team, participating in weekly meetings and strategy sessions to give overall leadership to the direction of the organization.
Requirements:
  • A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a pre-existing belief and demonstration of lifestyle as outlined in the P2C Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and developing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel internationally and perform in a variety of cross-cultural settings.
  • Bible school or seminary training an asset.
