Job Title: Director of Water for Life Initiative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Water for Life Initiative. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, vision, and direction to the program, ensuring its effective implementation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall leadership to the Water for Life Initiative, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values.
  • Develop and implement program strategies, goals, and objectives, in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
  • Oversee program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Lead a team of technical, administrative, and programs staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure strong oversight of international operations, ensuring clarity on goals, resource productivity, and good long-term decision-making.
  • Participate in proposal writing, budgeting, and fund development for the Water for Life Initiative.
  • Manage a caseload of ministry partners, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Active member of the lead team, participating in weekly meetings and strategy sessions to give overall leadership to the direction of GAiN Canada.
Requirements:
  • Bible school or seminary training an asset.
  • A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a pre-existing belief and demonstration of lifestyle as outlined in the P2C Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith.
  • Effective cross-cultural, multi-generational people management skills.
  • Able to travel internationally and perform in a variety of cross-cultural settings.
  • Hold or can obtain a valid passport.
