Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team. As a Construction Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the construction team to deliver high-quality homes and buildings on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the construction team to deliver homes and buildings from framing to completion.
- Identify and complete repairs in a timely manner, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Assist homeowners to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Present a professional and customer-focused image in all interactions with homeowners.
- Review and report any safety issues to the Health and Safety Representative or direct supervisor.
- Complete repair lists resulting from quality control inspections.
- Report defects and damages to the Foreman if applicable.
- Conduct interior repairs on windows, doors, frames, baseboards, floors, and other areas as required.
- Conduct carpentry finishing and repairs as required.
- Prepare homes for inspections, including City and customer inspections.
- Ensure the complete cleanup of homes inside and out.
Requirements
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- General knowledge of residential construction repairs.
- Strong communication skills.
- An eye for detail and ability to take direction well.
- A liking for great customer service and helping out fellow coworkers.
- Confidence in working alone and as part of a team.
