About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team at Minto Group. As a Construction Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Construction Team in delivering high-quality construction projects from framing to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and addressing construction deficiencies, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct interior repairs on windows, doors, frames, baseboards, and floors, as well as carpentry finishing and repairs on insulation and drywall.
- Prepare homes for inspections, including City and customer inspections, and ensure complete cleanup of the home inside and out.
- Collaborate with the Construction Team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and meet project deadlines.
- Review and report any safety issues to the Health & Safety Representative or direct supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in residential construction repairs.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- General knowledge of residential construction repairs.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
