Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Shan Holdings Inc.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres to provide expert recommendations to customers
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime
Work Environment:

The Restaurant Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.

Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
