Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Everest Spice Grill Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required, maintaining accurate records of our operations.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and management.
  • Teamwork: A team player with a client-focused approach, able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with experience an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts.
  • Language: English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
