Sales Growth Strategist

- Develop and maintain sales collateral (e.g., pitch decks, discovery decks, inventory guide, advertiser guidelines) to support the sales team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, ad product, and data science
- Work closely with Director of Sales, National Sourcing, and product teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and materials with overall business objectives
Key Responsibilities
- Tailor client proposals to address specific client needs and opportunities, ensuring they are compelling and relevant to the specific account based on sales insights, historical performance, and industry trends
- Provide account insights: Collaborate with retail insights data specialists to provide actionable insights for accounts that inform sales tactics and performance, helping to refine sales collateral and accounts' advertising strategies
- Proactively prospect new opportunities for existing advertisers not buying media or upselling existing advertisers
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of work experience in a sales strategy-related role at an agency, adtech company, media network, or media publisher
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, including different campaign objectives (e.g., conversion, awareness), advertising formats (video, search, banner), and placements (e.g., on site, on email, in-store)
- Experience developing sales collateral at an agency, adtech, media network, or media publisher
- Familiarity with retailer / grocer / CPG
- Proven sales strategy skills with the ability to create tailored proposals for advertisers
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced growth environment
- Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and communication skills
- Hands-on knowledge of different media buying platforms, media investment strategies, and advertising products
