Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging instruction in Exploring Technology to Grade 9 students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Design and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements to integrate real-world examples into the curriculum.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-disciplinary connections and contribute to the overall educational experience.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Communication Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Communication Technology at the high school level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere.
  • Proficiency in Trimble SketchUp.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Google Workspace.
