Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Liquor Clerk to join our team at our Erin Ridge Liquor Store in St. Albert, AB. As a Liquor Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe and efficient operation. You will be handling and recording transactions, processing and packaging customer purchases, organizing and stocking merchandise, and performing daily cash reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation
  • Handle and record transactions through the point of sale terminal
  • Process and package customer purchases
  • Organize and stock merchandise
  • Prepare daily cash reconciliations
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Assist team members when necessary

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • Previous liquor retail/cashier and customer service experience
  • WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) training
  • Inventory/Merchandising/Stocking experience
  • ProServe Liquor Staff Training
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move up to 20lbs consistently when stocking
