Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Allegra Abbotsford. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records, as well as perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and implement network traffic and security monitoring software.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • English as the primary language of work.
