About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our clients. As a Salesforce Developer Lead, you will be responsible for customizing and integrating the LR Gateway (LRG) application, configuring and implementing Salesforce applications, and conducting root cause analysis and resolving production issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead development activities on the Salesforce platform.
- Customize and integrate the LR Gateway (LRG) application.
- Configure and implement Salesforce applications.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams.
- Research and implement new Salesforce capabilities.
- Develop technical documentation and training materials.
- Provide operational support and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Support QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts.
- Participate in code reviews and system development activities.
- Offer knowledge transfer to ministry staff.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full-cycle software development experience.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce development.
- Certified Salesforce Developer certification.
- Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with third-party applications.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD tools.
- Expertise in database technologies, BI tools, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Ontario Public Service policies and labour relations processes.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (AODA) and experience in developing bilingual applications.
