Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team in the BC Region. As an Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing internal audits, ensuring that client engagements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing high-quality assurance services to clients, with a strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute internal audits, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality audits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as Risk Consulting and Financial Advisory, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a management role.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Salary Information:

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive compensation package, including bonus awards, stock options, and a range of benefits.
