Job Summary:

The Enrollment Services Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Office of Enrollment Services. This role is responsible for updating and filing records and documents, assisting with student payments, deposits, and refunds, and providing support to students at the Enrollment Services Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries and perform general office administrative duties.
  • File student and department records, including generation of new files.
  • Process ID cards for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Enter and update student information in Colleague and other systems.
  • Assist students with online registration and other information on the web.
  • Update student and academic advisor information in Colleague.
  • Assist with financial operations, including billing and processing of student payments.
  • Oversee the document request process and collect and process requests for documents.
  • Participate in Commencement Planning Committee and organize Pre-Commencement Dinner.
  • Prepare reports for related areas.
  • Proofread and check documents.
Requirements:
  • High School or GED required.
  • Two years of experience in clerical office work demonstrating good filing skills and familiarity with standard office equipment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems for data management, word processing, and other applications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Experience showing a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic accounting/bookkeeping skills and experience with collecting cash payments.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Availability to work overtime and non-standard hours as required.
  • Canadian residency or work permit required.
  • Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
