Job Summary

Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing x-ray exams and ensuring high-quality images while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, monitoring and adjusting equipment as needed.
  • Conduct non-contrast CT examinations during after-hours and weekends.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective imaging services.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of departmental protocols and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in radiography.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiography.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
