Job Title: Medical Radiation Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at Wentworth Halton X-Ray & Ultrasound. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiography and a passion for delivering excellent patient outcomes. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, mammography, and BMD
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff performance
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved training program in radiography
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
  • Knowledge of the CMRTO Essential Competencies and ability to apply them in practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Work Environment:

Our clinics are located in Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Waterdown, Burlington, and Oakville. The successful candidate will be required to work at one or more of these locations, with flexibility to work at other sites as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $35.28-$39.35 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including dental care, disability insurance, employee assistance program, extended health care, life insurance, on-site parking, paid time off, RRSP match, tuition reimbursement, and vision care.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the clinic and our patients.
