About the Role:

CIE_101 Beneva Inc. is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to join our team in the Trois-Rivières area. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving insurance claims in a fair and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate claims by visiting the scene of the loss, gathering information, and estimating damages.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including claimants, adjusters, and vendors, to resolve claims.
  • Review and verify claims documentation, including invoices and receipts, to determine the extent of coverage.
  • Identify potential fraudulent claims and refer them to the appropriate team for further investigation.
  • Authorize payments to claimants within the scope of your authority.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Insurance or a related field, with a focus on claims adjustment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an external claims adjuster.
  • Hold a Professional Adjuster's Association (PAA) designation or be in the process of obtaining it.
  • Hold a commercial insurance license.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal, due to the nature of the role, tools, and interactions with colleagues, partners, clients, or vendors.
  • Be available to work a rotating shift, representing several weeks per year, to provide 24/7 claim service.
