CIE_101 Beneva Inc. is a leading insurance company seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in Trois-Rivières and surrounding areas. As a Claims Adjuster, you will play a crucial role in investigating and resolving insurance claims in a fair and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate insurance claims, including on-site visits to gather information and estimate damages.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to resolve claims and make payment decisions.
  • Obtain quotes, verify invoices, and determine payable indemnities based on insurance contract protections.
  • Detect potential fraudulent claims or recovery opportunities and refer them to specialized teams as needed.
  • Authorize claim payments within authorized payment limits.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Insurance, with a focus on Claims Adjusting.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an external Claims Adjuster.
  • Hold a P.A.A. title or be in the process of obtaining it.
  • Hold a Commercial Insurance license.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken, due to the nature of the job, tools, and interactions with colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers.
  • Be available to provide 24/7 claim service, following the established on-call schedule, representing a few weeks per year.
