Job Title: Expert en sinistres route

CIE_101 Beneva Inc. is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in the Trois-Rivières area and surrounding regions. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling regular loss cases on the Beneva and Unique roads to determine the circumstances, causes, and amount of claims in both personal and commercial insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate assigned claims, including visiting the scenes of the incidents to gather necessary information and estimate damages.
  • Coordinate activities of different stakeholders in the claim and make decisions on claim payments.
  • Obtain quotes, verify invoices from policyholders and suppliers, and determine payable compensations based on insurance contract protections.
  • Identify potentially fraudulent or recoverable claims for transfer to appropriate teams.
  • Approve claim settlements within payment authority limits.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in insurance, claims handling option.
  • Minimum of 3 years of external claims expert experience.
  • P.A.A. title or working towards obtaining it.
  • Business insurance license.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English for communication with English-speaking colleagues, clients, or partners.
  • Availability to provide 24-hour claims service as per established schedule.
